A 13 hour long Music Festival.
It was in History class — life and works of Rizal — when
Patricia told me that there will be a 13 hour long Music Festival to be held in
Circuit Makati on April 2. At first I didn't listen attentively until she
mentioned that there will be 13 dj's and 3 of them are internationally well
known.
Strix Inc. kicks off with a Summer Party for Chroma Music Festival this 02 April 2016 at Globe Circuit Makati Event Grounds. This event is for the benefit of Black Pencil Project and Philippine Christian Foundation. The Head DJs, incorporation with International support act ZOO THEORY, are TUJAMO, TIMMY TRUMPET, STADIUMX. They are accompanied with the following local talents: Ace Ramos - back to back with Mars Miranda, David Ardiente - back to back with Therese Garcia, Tom Taus, Lucio Pua, Funk Avy, Cathy Frey, Sai Dy and BangHous3.
Hyping the stage are MC PAO and MC BOO SACRAMENTO, with side activities start at 2pm until 8pm. General Admission Ticket holders will be privileged to experience: Cuervo Tequila Pong, Cuervo Ring Toss, Cuervo Hugot Shower Booth, Giant Slide, Wall Climb, Bounce BallPit, Photobooth. However, VIP Ticket holders will have access to the GenAd activities alongside the following: Obstacle course, Glow in the Dark Face Paint, and a VIP viewing deck.
Upon entrance you will be
given 2 colored powders and 2 beverage stubs for the VIP ticket holders and 1
colored powder and 1 drinking stub for the General Admission ticket holders,
only those who have valid ID and legal age will be given a stub for the drinks.
Once we entered the concert grounds, Banghous3 was playing. The entire crowd was throwing powder for the synchronized powder toss! We danced along, and after minutes of dancing, we ate, and tried out the activities. I managed to climb the inflatabled mountain climb. We also tried out the giant slide which was unlimited. We aslo went to the bouncy house (which lacked balls for a ballpit). Unfortunately, my snaps got deleted but it was still a solid night. We ate dinner, danced again, and decided to try the bar which did a great job! Pola and I even tried to count how many guys and girls were wearing the "Aub sando" — Hi Aub (aka The Number 1 Team Bahay Representative). There were so many we lost count!
When it was Timmy Trumpet, we asked for more throwing powder. Fortunately, there was an entire sack of it. By the end of that endeavour, I had pockets full of the violet colored powder. Because of the colored powder, I looked like a violet Hulk! Sadly, that photo of mine, was one of the lost snaps. I even tried hitting the drone - which fortunately enough, I didn't succeed in. I used half a packet of powder just doing that. I even put the powder in James' string bag, and successfully made Alex's white Roshe purple using the said method. To sum it all up, it was absolutely amazing and I'd do it again. Good job, Stricks Inc.! Can't wait for the next!
