LOCATION: BAGUIO, PHILIPPINES

My family and relatives decided to end the summer season with a twist, by going to the Summer Capitol of the Philippines - also known as the City of Pines - Baguio City to chill the last days of summer since we reside in Manila; a city in which is considered a busy one filled with students, workers and tourists. Don't forget to mention the heat; the main reason why we visited.

Day 1: May 28, 2015, Thursday at 6:20 in the morning, Manila time.

By 11:00 am, we got safely to our summer/holiday home in Baguio which is located in Brentwood Village. After resting for an hour or two and unpacking our bags, we've managed to fix our itinerary for that day. At the top of the list is the Famous Baguio City White House.

Even though it was not our first time to go to Baguio, it was our first time to enter the house.

Here's a photo of me and my parents, and if you're wondering if there's another person in the photo. Yup, we're not the only ones who's in the shot. It's only my cousin Kobe trying to "photo bomb" to spook things up. Haha! P.S. And the hand, it's my Tito's.

Day 2: May 29, 2015, Friday at 10:30 in the mning.

Even though last night's trip was kinda spooky, we all had our good night sleep. Today we decided to go to the Bencab Museum which is a really far place from the city proper, it took us almost an hour and a half to reach it.

For a museum built near a cliff, Bencab Museum is built aesthetically. The structure was amazing and you could really see the true beauty of nature can offer. And on the other hand, I wasn't able to take photos of the paintings and other kinds of art because my mom asked me to take photos of her and my dad. So the photos on this visit will most likely have them in the shot. Hehe!

After a really tiring Museum Tour, we headed back to the city proper and ate at the 6 floor Good Taste Baguio which I forgot to take a photo of because I was hungry and we didn't have much time.

Later that day, our other relatives arrived. Since it was raining from time to time, my Grandma asked if we could have some coffee and midnight treat. Who wouldn't agree to that, right? So we headed to the Forest House Bistro & Cafe for some hot drink.

Day 3: May 30, 2014, Saturday at 10:00 in the morning

We went to ride horses at Camp John Hay instead of the traditional Wright Park, because we wanted a new trek to ride on to.

After half an hour of horse back riding, we headed to The Manor for a morning snack, since its too early for us to eat lunch because it's only 10:30 in the morning and riding horses can really tire you.

After catching up, its the perfect time for lunch. Since my cousin, Kobe, was craving for crab this day, like he does most days, we ate lunch at Seafood Island. After the sumptuous meal, we wanted to remove the grease of the seafood we ate so it's time for desserts. Even though it's cold, we had ice cream, and doughnuts at J.Co as well

We roamed the streets of Baguio for the rest of day and had a hard time looking for fastfood chains and restaurants that we're not full. And after hours of searching, we finally found the perfect place. We had dinner at Canto (tagalog slang for the corner of the street/block/avenue). It was a nice restaurant, with its delicious food and comforting atmosphere - a restaurant near Wright Park where you go horse back riding.

And guys, if you're wondering why I don't post photos of food that's because I'm a picky eater and I always end up eating finger food than gourmet. All my friends knows that hahahaha.

Day 4, the last day: May 31, 2014, Sunday at 10:00 in the morning

Our family heard mass at the Baguio Cathedral - a church that offers the Sacrament of Liturgy on an hourly basis. After hearing the mass, we had an early lunch at Shakey's.

After consuming our food, we headed to our last destination for this trip which was the Mines View Park and Good Shepherd (where they sell the very famous Baguio Ube).

After buying pasalubongs for our friends and co-workers at Manila, we departed the attraction and headed to our house to pack our bags and get ready to go home.

At 4:00 in the afternoon we left the beautiful city of Baguio and headed back to Manila and will face reality (school) in less than a week.
